JCHC Just Keeps Getting Better

Selecting a senior living community for your loved one can be a challenging process. After all, it’s an important decision that places the care of mom or dad in the hands of people you do not know. Aside from ensuring the quality of care, you also need to ensure that mom or dad will like the feel of the community. Are the people nice? Is there a variety of activities and clubs to take part in? Are there open spaces to gather? Is the floor plan and decor of the community up to date? Is there a high-tech medical wing available in case mom or dad develops a health condition down the line? While we certainly have the people and activities covered – soon enough, JCHC will be able to provide a resounding yes to all of these questions, as we have major exciting renovations planned for Lester Senior Living! Here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come, and why JCHC just keeps getting better.

 

·        New Medical Suite Expansion. With this expansion, Lester Senior Living’s medical suite will have more exam rooms to be able to provide more specialized care to residents. The new medical suite will also be completely reconfigured to make more open-plan spaces for waiting, reception, and conference rooms.

·        Transforming the First Floor Library into an Open Lounge Cafe. One of the most exciting transformations will be opening up the library into a full-on lounge, equipped with a cafe that will offer fresh food, coffee and drinks to take on-the-go. Our own personal Starbucks right when you enter Lester!

 

·        Creating a New Fitness Area on the Second Floor. Currently, the second floor atrium only has areas for seating. With the new open lounge cafe creating more seating, the second floor atrium can be converted into a state-of-the-art fitness center for staff and residents.

 

·        Updated Cinema-style Theater on the Second Floor. At Lester, we love our movies! One of our favorite activities is our Movie Matinees – where we choose a feature film, make some buttery popcorn and just unwind. After the renovation, we will have a true cinematic experience complete with plush seating and individual tables to hold movie snacks.
